Good product

The company I work for started buying these when they hit the market, and now they have a couple dozen of these, and they seem to be holding up very well. Generally there are very few tools by DeWalt that I like, but I absolutely love these lasers. We use them for steel framing (walls, ceilings, soffits)and trim (setting cabinets and making sure that head casings align) and I ended up liking it so much, I bought my own. The only complaint that I and my co-workers have is the laser line is hard to see in bright light or long distances.

pricey but works good

I have a multi story house and wanted more protection and to know if there is smoke on another floor. These comunicate very well, They are a little hard to set up, it took multiple times before we were able to get them to talk to each other.. Don’t loose your instruction sheet! you have to do it every time you change batteries.

Wonderful for your back

This is so comfortable, I just have a hard time keeping it centered on my chair. It likes to slide from side to side. But it eases the tension from my shoulders and forces me to have better posture. I highly recommend this.

Nice Hub - Bright

Have had this plastic cased hub for about two months now and it’s still working as well as the ports on the computer - but more convenient. Comes with a power supply, although it appears it’s only needed if you want the hub lit even when the computer is off. Mine works fine on just USB power with only one drive installed, and I don’t want the dual blue LEDs on top lit all the time as they are very bright, like light up the room bright. Also the ports may be too close to install 4 drives simultaneously. My attitude is - the brighter the better - and I only have two thumb drives, so I’d definitely buy this hub again.

Is this thing for real?

I was just working with a framer who had this blade on this Mag 77 and I was stunned at how fast this blade cut through wood. It’s hard to believe that a blade could make that much difference. All cuts with this blade were effortless. We ripped a 6″x10″x12′ beam on the 6″ side. You would have thought we had just used a table saw. This is a sweet blade.

Great 12Volt Drill

While I admit that I was a little concerned about the compact design of this drill, I was glad to give it a try in light of Amazon’s return policy. However, this drill is not going anywhere. Like many other cordless drill owners I got to that place where purchasing replacement batteries was almost as much as purchasing a new drill with two batteries. I used it to for driving some 3.5″ framing screws and drywalled a bathroom, laundry room, and small hallway. It has plenty of power and balances well in the hand. The LED light is also a nice enhancement for dark corners in tight workplaces.

Absolutely Repeatable Marking. Best Tool Ever for Mortises!

I echo the words of the other reviewer. I use this thing all the time. It is the only measuring device I ever use when laying out mortises.Try this with your ruler. Mark 3-31/32″ from then edge of your wood and then lift your ruler, move your wood around and try to use the same ruler to make the same measurement. I’m not saying it can’t be done, but with this thing, you can draw a .5mm line E-X-A-C-T-L-Y over the one you previously drew. It’s not off by a “hair” or a “smidgin” or “a little”, it’s dead-on.By sliding the “fence” on this t-rule across your edge as you make your mark, it’s possible to make a repeatable and exact measurement from the edge of your board all the way down the length of the board in any increment (down to 64ths).I stress repeatability because that’s very important when trying to mark two separate pieces exactly the same.Since this ruler came into my shop, I occasionally amaze myself, and that alone makes it worth the price!

Not bad

I bought these mostly for the 1/4″ and have used one of the two 6″ and one of the two inch about 50 times apiece and they still work. Much better than buying cheap bits.
